Button depicts crossed rifles with "NG" above and "NJ" below. New Jersey National Guard was organized after the Civil War. Backmark: "HORSTMANN. PHILADELPHIA / (dot)" dm no rings, manufacture after 1893, (HorstmannMisc02). Two part convex button, hat or sleeve size.
