Bullets of the Civil War

Most bullets listed have been excavated from Civil War sites.  Illustrations are representative of the bullets offered, multiple quantities are offered for most patterns.  Bullets are very old and have generally been excavated, there may be minor dings and scratches. I will attempt to describe major flaws.   

Please order by "M&M" number, McKee & Mason, "Civil War Projectiles II, Small Arms & Field Artillery with supplement".  I have also cross reference "T&T" numbers, which is Thomas & Thomas, "Handbook of Civil War Bullets & Cartridges".

All items listed are believed to be authentic to the Civil War or as otherwise described.

Sometimes called .56 cal Sharps, the bullet is much larger than .52 cal.  However the oversized bullet was intended to compress as it took the rifling of the smaller bore.
