Ethelbert Halfmann
Ethelbert Halfmann was a clothier operating from Montgomery Alabama before the war. From the rarity, it appears that the only buttons supplied were to Florida, and these are extremely rare. Later he joined Taylor to smuggle goods through the blockade.
Most information on this page is from Tice's book, Dating Buttons..., the pictures are generally from buttons that I have handled.
