Depicts state seal of Maine, intended for officers of Maine militia
units.
Backmark: "CULLEN BROWN / * DETROIT (dot)" dm inner ring, cuff size
only. This tailor operated 1846 to 1860's (Cullen02As)
Three part officer button, hat or sleeve size.
Shank missing, fully attractive nondug button.
